Our client, one of the fastest-growing distributors of restaurant equipment, HVAC, and residential appliance parts, is looking for an Account Manager who thrives in a hybrid work environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and can manage multiple B2B accounts with ease. Responsibilities:
– Manage and grow a book of 30 to 40 or more active B2B accounts, including customers purchasing HVAC equipment and related parts
– Prospect and develop new business opportunities from provided leads using a hunter approach, with a focus on HVAC equipment sales
– Actively promote and sell HVAC equipment solutions, understanding customer applications, specifications, and requirements
– Use CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities and manage client interactions
– Work cross-functionally with internal teams (sales support, operations, and product teams) to support client needs and drive account success
– Travel up to 30 to 40% of the time to meet with clients across Ontario
Qualifications:
– 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced, account-heavy environment
– Previous experience selling HVAC equipment is required (distribution, wholesale, or manufacturer environment preferred)
– Proven hunter mindset with hands-on experience prospecting and generating new business
– Experience working for a distributor or eCommerce company is preferred
– Comfortable managing 30 to 40 or more active accounts with short sales cycles
– Must have experience using CRM systems to manage and track opportunities (Salesforce preferred)
– Demonstrated experience working with sales targets and the ability to speak to past quotas and performance
– Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both small local businesses and large corporate clients
– This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports
